Christophe Clarijs

Christophe Clarijs (BE, 1990) is a graphic designer and aspiring researcher. Hailing from Antwerpen and currently undertaking a residency at the Jan van Eyck Academie.
His practice focuses on commissioned and self-initiated work with an emphasis on editorial design. He is primarily interested in research-based projects involving media theory, publishing and the internet. Active in both web and print spheres of visual culture, and eager to see them conspire.
Christophe graduated in 2012 from St Lucas University College with a Master of Arts in Graphic Design, in 2013 from the University of Antwerp with a Master of Science in Film Studies and in 2014 with a post-graduate Master of Research in Art & Design from St Lucas University College in Antwerp.
His work was featured by Kwintessens, Slanted and IDPURE, and has recently been exhibited at Designcenter De Winkelhaak in Antwerp, WARP Platform for Contemporary Art in Sint-Niklaas and Marres House for Contemporary Culture in Maastricht.
