Created in 2007, the Demian Conrad Design studio is based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Working mainly in the cultural field (cinema, music, conferences, etc.) and the leisure industry (restaurants, bars, hotels, etc.), the studio lends its expertise to everything related to events communication and visual identity. In 2010, we received a nomination for the German Design Award. We won the award for the best European poster in 2009, 2010 and again in 2011. In 2012 we were honored by the Swiss president for a stamp designed for the national post. Some of our works are held in collections such as the Museum of Design in Zurich and the Chaumont archive. With a research-led approach, we are interested in how technologies and processes relate to form and meaning. In 2010 we developed a printing process named WROP in which we could create a unique random printout using an industrial offset machine. The studio has become a R&D playground looking for new territories. We are currently exploring alternative methods that use traditional printing and new cutting-edge digital printing techniques.
