Giulia Schelm was born and raised in Kreuzberg, Berlin. She has been traveling back and forth to Los Angeles, her second hometown, since she was sixteen. In 2009 she enrolled in the University of Arts Berlin where she is currently majoring in graphic design under the tutelage of Fons Hickmann. Aside from her studies, Giulia works as a freelance graphic designer in her studio located in Neukölln. She likes to experiment with different materials, with a special interest in print and often mixes analogue with digital techniques. You can always find her armed with her Nikon F3 as she works to capture life in moments.
