Kees Bakker

Born in the Netherlands, Kees Bakker moved to New York late 2009. After interning at 2x4 and working at Base Design he currently works as a freelance designer in New York.

Projects he worked on included several publications in fashion design and photography, the most noteworthy being Lost in Limbo, a book about former Mujahedin members in Iraq living without hope and in constant fear. His own book (in collaboration with Barbara Hennequin), Plan B, brought together interviews with 28 renowned Dutch design professors about the pro's and con's of their profession, and has been featured in publications and exhibitions in The Hague, Toulouse, and New York.
