Kristine is an independent visualise designer. She has an insatiable passion and a fondness for typography, printing, colours and paper structure. She works on commissioned and self-initiated projects in all stages of printed matter such as editorial design, book art, brand development, visual identity design, corporate communication and art direction.
She believes good design comes from unlimited questioning, challenging convention and creating and collecting innovative methods to solve visual tasks into an unique ways. The process is often based on a strong idea or a fundamental concept which exploited to the maximum with no preconceptions. To emphasis that it is concept-driven design; the form is often learning towards anti-esthetics. It is a paradox that this actually is an esthestic in itself.
She is especially interested in concept-based projects and testing interdisciplinary visual methodologies into visual grammar. Mainly focus on experimental form of the printing method from low-tech to digital and conceptual book art.
Looking forward to cooperating with brand-new projects about art, design, printed matter, brand identity and visual experimentation.
