Lies Mertens is a graphic designer and handmade leather accessory maker, currently based in Antwerp, Belgium and working with the studio Holy Mothership. Her graphic work focuses on editorial design, scenography and identity.
She graduated in 2013 from LUCA Arts University Ghent with a master in Graphic Design and studies a master cultural management with a focus on creative industries and design at the University of Antwerp. She works as a freelance designer since 2014 and has recently started a course in leather techniques and accessory design at PVCO Lokeren.
