Périphérique is a parisian creative laboratory aiming to enlighten everyone of us through irrational and quirky artistic points of view.
Everyday obvious facts are projected in a space halfway between their own reality and the extraordinary, through a poetic treatment. This then questions our own way to look at reality as well as our illusions.
Like a child who is looking, for the very first time, through a kaleidoscope, we can then consider how nothing ever stays as it is. The absurd, just as disturbing lights illuminates twilight zones, challenges our smallest enclosures and releases uncertain yet amused smiles.
Originally founded by Laurent Salles & José Lamali, Périphérique Studio shows a specific interest in digital methods and devices to divert them from their primary function and use. Most projects exist in two forms : digital (Tumblr ou Instagram) or paper, becoming then concrete through a crafted object.

Périphérique Studio is now only articulated by its co/founder Laurent Salles.
